一 茶祖神农赋

The first tea ancestor Shennong Fu


三皇者燧皇羲皇农皇,生于湘葬于湘者农皇也!中华三祖,炎黄蚩尤,生于湘者炎帝蚩尤也!五帝黄帝颛顼帝喾尧舜,葬于湘者舜帝也! 夫昆仑万山之祖,三龙纵横中土。

The three emperors were Sui Huang, Xi Huang and Nong Huang, born in Hunan and buried in Xiang! The third ancestor of China, Yanhuang Chiyou, was born in Hunan! The five emperors, Huang Di Zhuanxu, Emperor Yao and Shun, were buried in Hunan! Fu Kunlun, the ancestor of mountains, has three dragons running across the Middle Earth.


湖南介于中龙之腹南龙之背,地灵人杰。若论湖湘茶文,则炎帝为祖,炎帝生于楚而葬于湘,故湖湘茶文化之盛,起于上古,盛于今朝,实有天地定数焉!

Hunan is located in the belly of the middle dragon and the back of the South Dragon. If we talk about Huxiang tea culture, then Yan Emperor is the ancestor. Yan Emperor was born in Chu and buried in Hunan. Therefore, the prosperity of Huxiang tea culture originated in ancient times and flourished in today's time. 赋曰,炎帝火运,起于南方。斫木石为耒耜,教先民事桑麻。播种五谷,民乃免饥饿之苦,万民繁衍生息。削木为琴,民乃闻教化之音,千古弦歌不绝!当其时也,南方雾瘴弥漫,土民疾病流行。

Fu said, Yan Emperor fire, originated in the south. Wood and stone for Lei, teach civil mulberry hemp. When you sow grain, the people will not suffer from hunger, and the people will multiply. Cutting wood for Qin, people are hearing the sound of enlightenment, endless string songs! At that time, fog and miasma prevailed in the south, and the diseases of local people were prevalent.


神农虽以神人之体,牛角号天,免于病瘴!然哀生民之苦痛,发天地之仁心,遂发宏愿,夫瘴气既起于山野,则药草必生于草木,此五行生克之理也!

Although Shennong, with the body of God and man, is called the heaven by ox horn, he is free from miasma! However, he lamented the sufferings of the living people and developed the benevolence of heaven and earth, and then he made a great wish. Since the miasma of the husband originates from the mountains, the herbs must be born in the grass and trees!


是日也,鼓乐齐吹,牺牲备祭,神农乃举杯告天,唯我昊天,化育生民。天地以万物为刍狗,生民以苍天为祖神。日月循环不阻风雨,民畜繁衍却苦瘟疫,神农虽免于其害,仁心常哀生民之苦,欲泄天机,以拯黎元!

It is also the day when drums and music are played together and sacrifices are prepared. Shennong raises his glass to tell the sky that I am the only one who cultivates the people. Heaven and earth take all things as cud dogs, and the living people take heaven as the ancestor god. Although Shennong was free from the disaster, his benevolence often grieved for the sufferings of the living people. He wanted to release the secrets of heaven and save Li Yuan!


当其祷告之时,忽狂风大作尘土飞扬!南方乌云滚滚,以雷霆之势挟一不明之物落于祭台之前。须臾乌云散而日光出,狂风止而尘埃定。神农与众部落首领急急跪拜于天降神物之前。三跪九叩礼毕,炎帝龙骧虎步举起天赐之物,众土民欢呼呐喊不止!炎帝曰,此树长于东山之涯,天怜黎民瘴气之苦,必以此物解山野之毒!且取其叶煮水,取其根植之!众曰诺!三谢而退。

When he prays, suddenly the wind blows and the dust rises! The clouds in the South were rolling, and with the force of thunder, an unknown object fell before the altar. In a moment, the dark clouds dispersed and the sun came out, and the wind stopped and the dust settled. Shennong and the tribal leaders knelt down before the gods. At the end of the ceremony, the emperor Yandi held up the gift of heaven, and the local people cheered and yelled! Yan Emperor said, this tree is long at the end of the East Mountain, heaven pities the Li people's miasma pain, must use this thing to solve the mountain wild poison! And take its leaves boiled water, take its roots! Everybody says yes! Thanks three times and retreated.


遂燃天火兮架石锅,取其叶兮纳其汁,烹其叶熬其汤!昏昏者闻之而神清,羸羸者饮之而气振! 炎帝赞曰 :

So he set fire to the stone pot, take its leaves Xi Na its juice, cook its leaves boil its soup! The faint will hear it and the spirit will be clear, and those who have won the battle will drink it and get angry! Emperor Yan praised it


天生神树兮水畔山崖,乾坤之精兮日月之华,解瘴毒戾气兮延民之寿,

The natural tree comes from the cliffs beside the water. The essence of heaven and earth is the beauty of the sun and the moon. It can relieve the miasma and poison and prolong the people's life,


天赐神物兮名之为茶,七十二毒兮何所惧。

Tea is the name of God given by God. Seventy two poisons are no fear.


尝百草兮跨山越峡众黎民闻之皆跪磕而祷告赞曰:

All the people knelt down and prayed and praised them


南方一帝兮威明神武,耒耜桑麻兮教耕五谷,削木为琴兮五音调心,煮茶为汤兮后甜先苦,尝百草兮医民之疾,功在万世兮兆民之祖!

二 湖湘茶文赋

Erhuxiang tea prose


神农本草,茶解七十二毒,仲景伤寒,药镇百零八邪。故茶祖在湖南,茶源始三湘,茶为国饮,湖南当先。

沉屈原于汨水,皆关国事,著碧岩于夹山,都是茶禅。南岳截云,大禹曾经治水,祝融耸翠,黎民却祭火神。几度沧田,湖湘圣脉心传,屡逢仙佛,洞庭吕祖云越。黑茶擂茶,陶澍壶煮京城客,文法兵法,毛公词压重庆贤。
