2020年4月13日是严凤英大师诞辰90周年的纪念日，由世界文化艺术界联合会亚洲戏曲协会、中国邮政、严凤英纪念馆、严凤英艺术基金会、安庆市黄梅戏艺术剧院主办，岳西戏曲协会、岳西文联筹建处承办的“纪念黄梅戏一代宗师严凤英大师诞辰90周年”大型纪念活动在安徽安庆凌湖公园举行。

本次纪念活动以“为传承艺术、为弘扬文化”为宗旨，缅怀严凤英大师对“严派”戏曲表演体系、对民族戏曲的传承和发展所做出的功勋卓著的贡献，在黄梅戏艺术的发展中，她是我国向海外传播黄梅戏艺术的先驱者。

With the purpose of "for the inheritance of art and for the promotion of culture", this commemoration remembers the great contribution made by master Yan Fengying to the performance system of "yanpai" opera and the inheritance and development of national opera. 纪念活动当天，风和日丽，大家早早地来到公园门口，着急地等待着活动开始，尽管疫情严重，还有很严迷赶来参加纪念活动。根据疫情防控的相关规定，限制纪念活动规模，园内参加活动人数不得超过40人，许多被挡在门外的纪念者着急万分，一次次恳求大门安保和警察：请让我们进去吧！安保人员说：理解大家的心情，就是不让进，上级领导不让进呀！双方互不相让，一直在说理，说到激动时，好像吵架一样。

On the day of the commemoration, everyone arrived at the gate of the park early and waited anxiously for the start of the commemoration. According to the relevant provisions of epidemic prevention and control, the scale of memorial activities is limited. 为纪念严凤英大师诞辰90周年中国邮政发行了纪念严凤英大师的纪念邮票，并举行了邮票发行仪式。

In order to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of master Yan Fengying, China Post issued a commemorative stamp in memory of master Yan Fengying and held a stamp issuing ceremony.

纪念活动当晚还举行黄梅戏专场演出，现场严派弟子带来了精彩的黄梅戏表演，让到场嘉宾不仅看到精湛的梅派技艺，更感受到了新一代黄梅戏演员的勃勃生机。全部纪念活动于当天顺利结束。

The special performance of Huangmei opera was also held in the evening of the commemoration. The disciples of yanpai school brought wonderful performances of Huangmei Opera. The guests not only saw the superb skills of meipai, but also felt the vitality of the new generation of Huangmei Opera actors. All the commemorative activities ended smoothly on the same day.
