小凤英，1965年7月16日出生于安徽合肥市，黄梅戏大师严凤英的传承者。

Xiao Fengying, born on July 16, 1965 in Hefei, Anhui Province, is the successor of Yan Fengying, a master of Huangmei Opera.

儿时的小凤英就有个大大的梦想，当一名优秀的黄梅戏演员，传承严凤英大师的黄梅戏，做一名合格的严凤英黄梅戏宣传员，把祖国优秀的文化艺术发扬光大。

As a child, xiaofengying had a big dream to be an excellent Huangmei Opera actor, to inherit master Yan Fengying's Huangmei Opera, to be a qualified yanfengying Huangmei Opera propagandist, and to carry forward the excellent culture and art of the motherland.

黄梅戏，原名黄梅调、采茶戏等，起源于湖北黄梅，发展壮大于安徽安庆。

Huangmei Opera, formerly known as Huangmei Opera and Tea Picking Opera, originated in Huangmei of Hubei Province and developed stronger than Anqing of Anhui Province.

黄梅戏与京剧、越剧、评剧 、豫剧并称“中国五大戏曲剧种”，也是安徽省的主要地方戏曲剧种，湖北、江西、福建、浙江、江苏、香港、台湾等地亦有黄梅戏的专业或业余的演出团体，受到广泛的欢迎。

Huangmei Opera, together with Beijing opera, Yue opera, Pingju and Yu opera, is also known as the "five major types of Chinese opera". It is also the main local opera type in Anhui province. There are also professional or amateur performance groups of Huangmei Opera in Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hongkong and Taiwan, which are widely welcomed.

黄梅戏是由山歌、秧歌、茶歌、采茶灯、花鼓调，先于农村，后入城市，逐步形成发展起来的一个剧种。它吸收了汉剧、楚剧、高腔、采茶戏、京剧等众多剧种的因素，逐渐形成了自己的艺术特点。

Huangmei Opera is a kind of drama developed from folk song, Yangge, tea song, tea picking lamp and flower drum tune, which precedes the countryside and then enters the city. It absorbed many kinds of factors such as Han Opera, Chu opera, Gaoqiang opera, Tea Picking Opera, Peking Opera, and gradually formed its own artistic characteristics.

黄梅戏唱腔淳朴流畅，以明快抒情见长，具有丰富的表现力；表演质朴细致，以真实活泼著称。一曲《天仙配》让黄梅戏流行于大江南北，在海外亦有较高的声誉。

Huangmei Opera has a simple and fluent singing style, which is bright and lyrical, and has rich expressive force; its performance is simple and meticulous, which is famous for its real and lively. A piece of "celestial match" makes Huangmei opera popular in the north and south of the river, and has a high reputation overseas.

2006年5月20日，黄梅戏经国务院批准列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。

On May 20, 2006, Huangmei opera was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

小凤英和严凤英大师的家人是望年交，曾得到严老前辈丈夫及儿子王小亚先生的亲自指导；也曾得到严凤英大师的同事，同台姐妹张萍老师的亲自辅导。
