1987年8月17日，李岚出生于湖南湘潭，一座因为因盛产湘莲而别称“莲城”的荆楚名城，又称“潭城”。湘潭从南朝开始建县，距今已有1500多年，是湖湘文化的重要发祥地、中国红色文化的摇篮，有“小南京”、“金湘潭”的美誉。
On August 17, 1987, Li Lan was born in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, a famous city of Jingchu called "Liancheng" because of its abundant Xianglian, also known as "Tancheng". Xiangtan County has been established since the Southern Dynasty, more than 1500 years ago. It is an important birthplace of Huxiang culture and the cradle of China's red culture. It is known as "little Nanjing" and "jinxiangtan".
“湘中灵秀千秋水，天下英雄一郡多”，湘潭伟人、巨匠灿若星辰——蜀汉名相蒋琬，晚清重臣曾国藩，文化名人齐白石，一代领袖毛泽东、开国元勋彭德怀、著名将领黄公略、开国大将陈赓、谭政等都诞生于此。

李嵐自小便受到良好的家庭、学校教育，乖巧懂事，温柔漂亮，音乐艺术天分极高。毕业于南京艺术学院音乐学系音乐传播专业，主攻音乐教育方向，在校期间任学生会秘书部副部长一职连续三年获得优秀学生奖学金，毕业论文荣获专业二等奖。

He graduated from the Department of musicology, Nanjing Institute of art, majoring in music education. He served as the deputy director of the Secretary Department of the student union. He won the scholarship for outstanding students for three consecutive years, and won the second prize for his graduation thesis.
师从美籍华人青年钢琴家童心与钢琴系主任薛瑾教授；多次担任音乐专业考试钢琴伴奏及艺术指导；

2007年-2015年在江苏南京，湖南长沙、湘潭等地进行钢琴教学工作，许多学生在专业考级或艺术表演竞赛中获得优异成绩，得到家长与学生们的认可与好评。
From 2007 to 2015, piano teaching was carried out in Nanjing, Jiangsu, Changsha, Xiangtan and other places in Hunan Province. Many students achieved excellent results in professional grade examination or art performance competition, and were recognized and praised by parents and students.
2010年获“中国音乐学院考级优秀指导教师”荣誉。

2016年七月来加拿大，在Alberta College师从Geraldine Haythorne 目前正完成皇家音乐学院钢琴考级认证。同时致力于社会与音乐相关的项目，活跃于本地的多个艺术文化节与合唱团。
He came to Canada in July 2016 and studied with Geraldine haythorne at Alberta College, and is currently completing the Royal Conservatory of music piano grading certification. At the same time, he is committed to social and music related projects, and is active in many local arts and cultural festivals and chorus groups.
从2017年开始至今司琴于爱城台湾大专校友会合唱团、江浙沪华侨联谊会、红枫合唱团及Edmonton华人协和教会并配合指导这些优秀的艺术团体完成了多次大小型音乐会获得广泛的认可和好评。

2020年10月6日，李岚加入世界文化艺术界联合会，担任加拿大音乐工作者协会副秘书长。
On October 6, 2020, Li Lan joined the World Federation of cultural and art circles and served as Deputy Secretary General of the Canadian Musicians Association.
