全国首个认知科学研究中心在湖南师范大学成立

人民网北京1月16日电 近日，全国首个认知科学研究中心在湖南师范大学成立。湖南师范大学校长蒋洪新，湖南师范大学“潇湘学者”讲座教授、认知科学研究中心主任Mark Turner出席成立仪式并共同为认知科学研究中心揭牌。

现场，Mark Turner介绍了认知科学研究中心成立的背景和意义。他说，当前，全球越来越重视认知科学研究，作为全国首个成立的认知科学研究中心，它不仅对湖南师范大学的教学科研、学科建设、人才培养等方面产生积极影响，而且能够加强湖南师范大学同全球各高校之间的联系，提升湖南师范大学办学国际化水平。他表示，认知科学研究中心的成立将很好地融合国家“一带一路”建设，为经济社会发展作出贡献。

据悉，目前我国范围内尚无具有国际性影响的认知科学研究中心，湖南师范大学建立的认知科学研究中心，将整合美国、英国、德国、俄罗斯、西班牙、挪威等国家学术机构中的知名专家，形成优势资源，提高和扩大湖南师范大学国际知名度和影响力。
