饶宗颐先生溘然长逝，我们拿什么纪念？

　　著名国学大师饶宗颐先生6日凌晨于香港逝世，享年101岁。

　　饶宗颐先生1917年生于广东潮安，中国当代著名的历史学家、考古学家、文学家、经学家、教育家和书画家。长期潜心致力于学术研究，先后与钱锺书、季羡林并称为“南饶北钱”和“南饶北季”，曾被授予“世界中国学贡献奖”等殊荣，足见其对国学研究做出的重大贡献和在国学界的重要地位，正因为如此，饶宗颐先生不仅受到学界的敬重，而且备受社会各界的敬仰，他的离去无疑是国学界的重大损失。

　　我们之所以敬重饶宗颐先生，不仅因为他对国学研究作出的巨大贡献，而且因为他无比严谨的治学态度和对国学研究孜孜不倦的追求。饶宗颐先生在中国人文学术研究方面造诣和建树相当卓著，其巨著《饶宗颐二十世纪学术文集》全套共十四卷二十大册，学问遍及上古史、甲骨学、简帛学、经学、礼乐学、宗教学、楚辞学、史学、敦煌学、目录学、古典文学及中国艺术史等十三大门类，被誉为百科全书式的国学大师，同时在绘画、书法等方面同样成就不菲，这显然更得益于他一以贯之初心不改、淡泊名利、潜心治学的可贵精神。

　　我们之所以敬重饶宗颐先生，更在于他对国学的热爱、对民族文化的自信和心系国家民族前途命运的赤子情怀。早在20世纪50年代，饶宗颐先生便开始探索敦煌这个文化宝库，为弘扬敦煌学和中国文化作出了巨大贡献。同时，他还是最早提出“海上丝绸之路”的学者，最早探究和考证了中国在对外经济、文化交流方面的成就和贡献，是研究中国海上交通史、进出口贸易史、海外移民史、文化交流史诸多领域的翘楚，“丝路行者”的雅称由此得名。在北大百年校庆上的发言中，饶宗颐先生就曾表示，二十一世纪将是中国踏上一个“文艺复兴”的时代，先生一生执著于研究国学的赤胆忠心和致力于文艺兴盛的非凡担当令人肃然起敬。
