“纪念潘天寿、李桦、李可染、叶浅予、张仃百年诞辰座谈会”在京召开

为了纪念美术家潘天寿诞辰120周年，李桦、李可染、叶浅予诞辰110周年，张仃诞辰100周年，追忆和缅怀五位先生为开拓和建设新中国美术事业做出的重大贡献，学习和弘扬他们在革命艺术生涯中所表现出的坚定信念、求真精神和崇高品德，2018年1月15日，“纪念潘天寿、李桦、李可染、叶浅予、张仃百年诞辰座谈会”在北京召开。

左中一在讲话中高度评价了五位先生的艺术成就。他认为，潘天寿、李桦、李可染、叶浅予、张仃五位美术界前辈，是中国文艺界老一辈的杰出代表，是德高望重的美术大家。他们毕生倾情于中国美术事业，参与和见证了20世纪中国美术发展，在多个领域为中国美术做出开拓性的独特贡献，他们的艺术作品和艺术思想已经成为中国现代美术的精神传统和文化财富，他们所开拓的事业、奠基的领域也已经枝繁叶茂、硕果累累。

       左中一强调，党的十九大描绘了新时代宏伟蓝图，吹响了新征程前进号角。新时代为我国美术事业、文艺事业展现了无限光明的前景，同时也赋予文艺工作者崇高的新的文化使命。发扬广大包括五位美术大家在内的老一辈艺术家的崇高精神和优良传统，对于坚定文化自信，促进美术事业发展，推动文艺繁荣兴盛具有重要意义。纪念五位美术大师，就是要像他们那样坚定理想信念，确立正确的价值追求；也要像他们那样坚守中华文化立场、勇于探索创新；还要像他们那样靠人格、靠作品立身，始终追求德艺双馨。

徐里在讲话中简要回顾了五位先生的艺术历程，他表示，潘天寿、李桦、李可染、叶浅予、张仃五位先生是中国美术事业的开拓者、奠基人、领路人和建设者，他们是卓越的艺术家，也是杰出的美术教育家。他们的人生经历和艺术活动与中国现代美术的发展休戚相关；他们的教育思想和学术观点对美术教学体系和人才培养模式的建立有重大意义；他们的杰出成就在中国现代美术史上创造了时代的高峰、树立了不朽的丰碑。

徐里强调，习近平总书记在党的十九大报告中指出，进行伟大斗争、建设伟大工程、推进伟大事业、实现伟大梦想，都离不开文化所激发的精神力量，离不开文化自信的重要作用。五位先生的一生，以及那一代美术家的一生，始终响应着国家民族的需要与召唤，以坚定的信仰和矢志不渝的精神，在岁月的浪沙中淘炼艺术的真金，无论任何艰难困苦，他们从未放弃对信仰的坚持，从未放弃对真理的追求，从未停下与时代共进的脚步。他们对中华民族充满信心，对中国文化充满信心，对中国未来充满信心。

座谈会现场气氛热烈感人，刘大为、王明明、范迪安、吴长江、吴为山、常沙娜、杨力舟、薛永年、李翔、张立辰、刘曦林、李宝林、蒋采萍、杨澧、赵力忠、楼家本等美术家纷纷发言，从五位先生的生活事迹、为人为艺等方面追忆和缅怀。五位先生的家属代表潘天寿、王尽晖、胡志国、金正平、张郎郎也分别答谢，并从他们所感受到的家风家训、为人品格、从艺精神等方面讲述所继承的宝贵精神遗产。本次纪念座谈与学习十九大报告精神结合起来，与会者一致认为五位先生就是文化自觉、文化自信的代表和典范，是我们永远学习的人生楷模，更是今天应该推崇的光辉榜样。并深感一个民族的文明进步，一个国家的发展壮大，需要一代代人接力、努力，需要很多力量来推动，核心价值观是其中最持久最深沉的力量，是我们一脉相承的精神追求、精神特质、精神脉络。

不忘初心、牢记使命、坚定信仰、砥砺前行。今天回顾五位先生的人生经历和创造业绩，继承他们的艺术思想与精神财富，延续中华文化与艺术的文脉，更深远的意义在于启示当下，激励后人从他们坚定的追求和信念中汲取力量；从他们的深厚道德修养，自觉追求德艺双馨的表率中汲取力量；从他们不畏艰难、筚路蓝缕的开创精神中汲取力量。正如李桦先生在1983年由中国美协和中央美院举办的《祝贺李桦教授从事美术教育五十年活动》答谢词中讲到：“一个人生下来，便应做有益于人民的事情。社会的事业，像一条滚滚不断的长江大河，由一代一代的人们传着生命的接力棒做下去，这才能使人类的理想及其文化永远发展向前。”
