据台湾媒体《东森新闻》2月3日报道，17岁的范丞丞自从表示参加大陆真人秀《偶像练习生》后，亲姐姐范冰冰总在网上默默支持着，而在最新一集节目中，他首次给姐姐通电话，听见对方的加油与安慰，他似乎整个人也放松不少，展现出淘气的一面，对着电话那头的姐姐“装可爱”起来，流露出姐弟有爱的一面。

《偶像练习生》2日播出内容中，练习生入宿后首次与家人通电话，只见范丞丞穿着白T、戴着黑帽，原本是想打给妈妈，却遇到没缴电话费，不能打电话，接着打了对方不接，在只能打给亲人的规定下，他改拨了范冰冰的电话，但姐姐也没接，好在后来姐姐回打过来，一接听他便开心喊“姐姐~”范冰冰直接切重点说，“怎么了，听说你上台忘词了”，让他苦笑了2声，有些尴尬回：“我觉得你可以这个事情别再说”。

范冰冰接着开导弟弟说：“别紧张，放松，别紧张就行了，我看起来挺好的，第一次已经非常好了，你尽全力就行了，不要有压力，听见了吗？”范丞丞听话的回“好”，接着问她要不要跟观众打招呼，她先是回“不用啦，跟谁打招呼啊，你不要开免提啊”，听到弟弟说“我在录制中”，她随即改口“好吧，好吧，那就跟大家say嗨吧”，让电话另一头的范丞丞立马举起手机面向镜头、开心大笑起来。

听见弟弟的笑声，范冰冰表示“你玩我是吧”，范丞丞开心解释没有，因为制作单位要他给亲人打电话，打给了妈妈，接着装可爱说：“我都说了我在录制中~中~中~”边说边手舞足蹈，甚至在椅子上原地弹跳，向姐姐撒娇起来。
