      选择鲁山仓头作为“仓颉故里”的认定地，主要基于以下因素：一，历史遗迹众多。仓头乡有仓颉冢，后人在冢上建仓颉祠，距今已有1300多年。是国内罕见的“祠墓合一”古建筑群，祭祠建在传说仓颉安葬处的“仓颉冢”上，形成了造字台、墓室、祠堂三位一体的独特格局 。这里也是“仓颉传说”这一省级非物质文化遗产的重要依托地。祠内曾古碑林立，现存元至正九年、清乾隆元年、乾隆四十一年所立的三通能显示“仓子头”字样的古碑。

       Cangtou of Lushan County has been identified as the hometown of Cangjie mainly for the following reaEnglish: Second, it owns distinctive place-name culture. Cangtou Township was formerly named Cangzitou. "Cang" was the surname granted by Emperor Huangdi; "Zi" is an honorific for Cangjie, while "Tou" means the origin of Chinese characters and the Cang clan. This place name contains profound cultural connotations linked to Cangjie.

       三，楹联佐证。仓颉祠里有一副楹联“文字始创地，史官肇任处”，相传为黄帝所赐，且为全国仓颉庙祠所独有，从侧面佐证了此地与仓颉造字的关联。

       English: Third, an ancient couplet serves as reliable evidence. A unique couplet is preserved exclusively in this shrine: Birthplace of primitive writing, cradle of official historiographers. It is said to be bestowed by Emperor Huangdi, which indirectly proves the close connection between this place and Cangjie's creation of Chinese characters.

        四，文化传承深厚。当地村民是听着仓颉的故事、看着仓颉的遗迹长大的，纪念仓颉已成为一种血脉相承的情怀。此外，仓头村被省政府命名为历史文化名村，并列入传统村落保护名录，“仓颉造字”被列入平顶山市非物质文化遗产名录。

       Fourth, the local cultural inheritance runs deep. Villagers have grown up with stories and historic sites about Cangjie, and commemorating this sage has become an inherent tradition passed down from generation to generation. Cangtou Village has been designated as a Famous Historical and Cultural Village by Henan Provincial Government and included in the protection catalogue of traditional villages. Meanwhile, the tale of Cangjie inventing Chinese characters has been listed in Pingdingshan Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

      五，周边历史文化丰富。仓颉陵周边有西周古墓群、新石器时代遗址、楚长城遗址、汉代冶铁遗址、始建于东汉年间的白马寺附属院文殊寺，以及出土的父乙兕觥、父庚尊等国家一级文物，这些密集丰富的历史文化遗迹，与仓颉文化相互印证，凸显了该地区在华夏文明中的重要地位。

      Fifth, abundant historical and cultural relics scatter in surrounding areas. Around Cangjie Mausoleum lie Western Zhou tomb clusters, Neolithic ruins, relics of the Chu Great Wall, Han Dynasty iron-smelting sites, Wenshu Temple (a branch temple of Baima Temple founded in the Eastern Han Dynasty), together with Grade One national cultural relics such as the Fu Yi Si Gong and Fu Geng Zun bronze vessels. These clustered historic sites corroborate Cangjie culture mutually, highlighting the prominent position of this region in the development of Chinese civilization.
