姜亨九(강형구)  Kang, Hyung –koo(1954) KOREA是韩国艺术界最具影响力的在世艺术家之一,他以极写实的手法创作人物肖像而闻名。创作的主要表现方式是在巨大画布上以特写方式塑造人物的面孔。

Kang, hyung - Koo (1954) Korea is one of the most influential living artists in Korean art circle. He is famous for his extremely realistic portraits. The main expression of creation is to create the faces of characters in close-up on the huge canvas.

1948年8月15日,朝鲜半岛南半部建立大韩民国,李承晚出任首届总统。七年后的1955年,姜亨九出生。自小便异于常人,长大后就读于韩国中央大学。

On August 15, 1948, the Republic of Korea was established in the southern half of the Korean Peninsula, and Li CHENGWAN became the first president. Seven years later, in 1955, Jiang Hengjiu was born. Different from ordinary people in urination, I grew up and studied in Central University of Korea.

中央大学的雏形由任永信女士于1918年4月1日创立。在首尔共有铜雀、首尔钟路和京畿道安城三座校区,是一所韩国名牌、世界著名的研究型综合大学之一,韩国BK21工程卓越高校、世界五百强高校。校 训:의에 죽고 참에 살자(Die in justice, live in righteousness;为正义而死,为真理而活)。

The rudiment of Central University was founded by Ms. Ren Yongxin on April 1, 1918. In Seoul, there are three campuses, namely, Tongque, Zhonglu and Gyeonggi do'an city. It is one of the famous research universities in South Korea, one of the outstanding universities of bk21 project in South Korea and one of the top 500 universities in the world. 艺术家姜亨九在1979年毕业于中央大学油画系,1989年的时候他还是一位公司职员,枯燥的工作并未令其感受到职业带来的创造性快乐,于是他毅然辞职拿着公司的遣散费自己建立起了工作室,抛开稳定的工作而投身于艺术这场冒险。

The artist Jiang Hengjiu graduated from the oil painting department of Central University in 1979. In 1989, he was still a company employee. His boring work didn't make him feel the creative joy brought by his career. So he resolutely quit his job and set up his own studio with the company's severance payment. He threw aside his stable work and devoted himself to the adventure of art.

在他48岁时第一次举办个展,之后,在上海当代美术馆(MOCA)、北京Green Park美术馆、纽约阿拉里奥画廊等艺艺术机构举办大型个展。

He held his first solo exhibition when he was 48 years old, and then he held large solo exhibitions at MoCA, Green Park Art Museum in Beijing, alario Gallery in New York and other art institutions.

一直以来,姜亨九认为自己的作品想表现的不仅仅是人物的外貌,而是人物的灵魂。“如果我画了10个人脸,仅仅刻画了皮肤纹路、面部轮廓,你可以评价说我是肖像画家。但当我画了超过1000个人的面孔,那我想传达的就是‘时代精神’,我画的是一个社会。”他如此解释。至于为何将创作焦点无限拉近直至最大限度地集中到人物面部,他说,希望呈现画中人的灵魂,并促成作品中的人物与现实观众面对面。

For a long time, Jiang believed that what his works wanted to show was not only the appearance of the characters, but the soul of the characters. "If I draw 10 faces and only depict skin lines and facial contours, you can say that I am a portrait painter. But when I draw more than 1000 faces, what I want to convey is the spirit of the times. I draw a society. " He explained so. As for why the creative focus is infinitely close to the face of the characters to the maximum extent, he said that he hopes to present the soul of the people in the painting and make the characters in the works face to face with the real audience.

2013年,在新加坡国立现代美术馆(SAM)举办回顾展。

In 2013, a retrospective exhibition was held at the National Museum of modern art (SAM) in Singapore.


2015年12月15日,“姜亨九个展——灵魂”亮相芳草地展览馆,展出包括梦露、叶利钦、关羽等中外名人的“面孔”。值得一提的是,此次展出的30件作品中有6件是姜亨九在北京驻留一个月创作的,包括“北京猿人”“关羽”和“邓小平”。

On December 15, 2015, "Jiang Heng's nine exhibitions soul" appeared in Fangcaodi exhibition hall, displaying the "faces" of Chinese and foreign celebrities including Monroe, Yeltsin, Guan Yu, etc. It is worth mentioning that six of the 30 works on display were created by Jiang henjiu during his one month stay in Beijing, including "Peking ape man", "Guan Yu" and "Deng Xiaoping".

2016年在华盛顿、莫斯科等地展示作品,活跃于国际艺术界。

本以为只不过是对着照片展示艺术家超高极写的技法,那些细腻到一丝一毫的发丝和皱纹,无非是对着照片不厌其烦地涂抹,也无非是倡导“超写实主义”或“照相写实主义”的复古罢了。

I thought it was just to show the artist's ultra-high and extreme writing skills to the photos. Those delicate hair and wrinkles are nothing more than to paint the photos endlessly, or to advocate the retro style of "super realism" or "photo realism".

直到在姜亨九驻北京侨福芳草地的工作室里,看到这些两三米大的原作以及这位韩国艺术家的创作过程时,才发现印刷品所带来的视觉欺骗性:本以为是一遍一遍细致入微的写实过程,却竟然几乎不用笔,而是用喷枪、电钻、雕刻刀、橡皮、棉签等媒介对画面不断破坏的过程。

It wasn't until Jiang henjiu saw these two or three meter old original works and the creation process of the Korean artist in his studio in Qiaofu Fangcao, Beijing that he found the visual deception brought by the printing materials: originally thought that it was a meticulous realistic process over and over again, but it didn't even use a pen. Instead, he used spray guns, electric drills, carving knives, Rubbers, cotton swabs and other media to constantly depict the pictures The process of destruction.

采访过程中,姜亨九开玩笑说——尽管画面上的人谁都认识,实际却并不存在——“我像是个说谎的骗子”。

During the interview, Jiang joked that despite the fact that everyone in the picture knows each other, there is no such thing as "I am like a liar".


2022年9月28日,被评为世界文化艺术界联合会“每日一星”评选活动的“文明和谐星”。

On June 18, 2022, it was rated as "civilization and harmony star" in the "one star a day" selection activity of the World Federation of cultural and art circles.
