When Jackie Chan was a kid, he was a naughty kid who dropped out of school because he liked to fight!

先秦时期，岭南（包括香港）为百越之地，《吕氏春秋》中称“百越”，《史记》中称“南越”，《汉书》称“南粤”。

In the pre Qin period, Lingnan (including Hong Kong) was the place of Baiyue, which was called "Baiyue" in Lu's spring and Autumn Annals, "Nanyue" in historical records and "Nanyue" in Hanshu.

1841年1月26日，第一次鸦片战争后，英国强占香港岛，事后清政府曾试图用武力予以收复，道光皇帝为此发下多道谕旨，但清朝始终不能捍卫领土完整。1842年8月29日，清政府与英国签订不平等的《南京条约》（原名称《江宁条约》），割让香港岛给英国 。

On January 26, 1841, after the first Opium War, the British occupied Hong Kong Island. After that, the Qing government tried to recover Hong Kong Island by force. Emperor Daoguang issued many edicts for this purpose, but the Qing Dynasty could not safeguard the territorial integrity. On August 29, 1842, the Qing government signed the unequal Nanjing Treaty (formerly known as Jiangning Treaty) with Britain, ceding Hong Kong Island to Britain.

1860年10月24日，中英签订不平等的《北京条约》，割让九龙半岛界限街以南地区给英国 。1898年6月9日，英国强迫清政府签订《展拓香港界址专条》（俗称“新界租约”），强行租借九龙半岛界限街以北、深圳河以南的地区，以及200多个大小岛屿，租期99年（至1997年6月30日结束）。

On October 24, 1860, China and the United Kingdom signed the unequal Beijing treaty, ceding the area south of the boundary street of Kowloon Peninsula to the United Kingdom. On June 9, 1898, the British forced the Qing government to sign the "special lease for the extension of Hong Kong boundary" (commonly known as the "New Territories lease") to lease the areas north of the boundary street of Kowloon Peninsula and south of Shenzhen River, as well as more than 200 large and small Islands for 99 years (ending on June 30, 1997).

通过三个条约，英国共占有包括香港岛、九龙和新界总面积达1092平方公里的中国领土，也就是现在整个香港地区的面积。

Through the three treaties, the UK has a total area of 1092 square kilometers of Chinese territory, including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the new territories, which is now the whole Hong Kong area.

1997年7月1日，中国政府对香港恢复行使主权，香港特别行政区成立，基本法开始实施。香港进入了“一国两制”、“港人治港”、高度自治的历史新纪元。

On July 1, 1997, the Chinese government resumed the exercise of sovereignty over Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was established and the basic law came into force. Hong Kong has entered a new historical era of "one country, two systems", "Hong Kong people governing Hong Kong" and a high degree of autonomy.

2020年5月28日下午，十三届全国人大三次会议以高票表决通过《全国人民代表大会关于建立健全香港特别行政区维护国家安全的法律制度和执行机制的决定》。

On the afternoon of May 28, 2020, the third session of the 13th National People's Congress adopted the decision of the National People's Congress on the establishment and improvement of the legal system and implementation mechanism of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for the maintenance of national security by a high vote.

香港自1950年代起推广家庭计划，倡导每个家庭供养两名孩子，目的是想减少当时颇高的生育率。成龙（Jackie Chan），1954年4月7日出生于香港，祖籍安徽芜湖，自幼随父母移居澳洲。他小时候常常打架闹事，因此读完小学一年级就辍学在家，不料这个调皮的小男孩日后能成为闻名四海的中国男演员、导演、国家一级演员、制作人、编剧、歌手。

Since the 1950s, Hong Kong has promoted the family plan to support two children per family, with the aim of reducing the high fertility rate at that time. Jackie Chan was born in Hong Kong on April 7, 1954. His ancestral home is Wuhu, Anhui Province. He moved to Australia with his parents when he was young. He used to fight and make trouble when he was a child, so he dropped out of school in the first grade of primary school. Unexpectedly, this naughty little boy can become a famous Chinese actor, director, national first-class actor, producer, screenwriter and singer in the future.

1961年，成龙随家人返回香港后，拜于占元为师傅，并于同年进入于占元开办的中国戏剧学院学习舞台化妆以及舞台表演技巧。在中国戏剧学院学习期间，成龙的艺名是元楼。在一次京剧演出时，他与元龙、元泰、元华、元彪等人的表演获得了关注，于是七人组成了“七小福”。

In 1961, Jackie Chan returned to Hong Kong with his family. He took Yu Zhanyuan as his master. In the same year, he entered the Chinese Academy of drama, which was founded by Yu Zhanyuan, to learn stage makeup and stage performance skills. During his study in China drama academy, Jackie Chan's stage name was yuan Lou. In a Peking opera performance, he gained attention with performances of Yuanlong, Yuantai, Yuanhua, yuanbiao, etc., so that seven people formed "seven little blessings".

1971年以武师身份进入电影圈  。1978年以电影《蛇形刁手》、《醉拳》确立功夫喜剧的动作风格 。1980年自导自演的动作片《师弟出马》打破香港地区票房纪录。1986年自导自演的动作片《警察故事》获得第5届香港电影金像奖最佳影片奖  。1989年获得大不列颠帝国勋章 。1992年凭借警匪片《警察故事3超级警察》获第29届台湾电影金马奖最佳男主角奖。1993年凭借警匪片《重案组》蝉联台湾电影金马奖最佳男主角 。

In 1971, he entered the film circle as a martial arts teacher. In 1978, the action style of Kung Fu Comedy was established by the movie snake shaped Diao Shou and drunk fist. In 1980, the self directed and self performed action film "the younger martial brother goes out of the horse" broke the box office record in Hongkong. In 1986, the action film "Police Story" directed and performed by myself won the best film award of the 5th Hong Kong Film golden statue award. He won the order of the British Empire in 1989. In 1992, he won the best actor award of the 29th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Award for the police bandit film "Police Story 3 super police". In 1993, he won the Golden Horse Award for best actor in Taiwan film for the police and bandit film "serious case group".

1995年凭借动作片《红番区》打入美国好莱坞，该片打破北美外语片票房纪录 。1998年主演的动作片《尖峰时刻》奠定其在好莱坞的地位。2001年主演的动作片《尖峰时刻2》创下华人演员主演好莱坞电影的票房纪录  。2005年凭借警匪片《新警察故事》获第25届中国电影金鸡奖最佳男主角奖  ；同年获上海国际电影节华语电影海外贡献奖 。

In 1995, he broke the box office record of foreign language films in North America with the action film "the red fan district". The 1998 action movie "rush hour" established its position in Hollywood. The 2001 action film "rush hour 2" set a box office record for Chinese actors in Hollywood films. In 2005, he won the best actor award of the 25th China Golden Rooster Film Award for the police bandit film "new police story"; in the same year, he won the overseas contribution award of Chinese film of Shanghai International Film Festival.

2012年被美国《纽约时报》评为“史上20位最伟大的动作影星”第一位  ；同年被吉尼斯世界纪录大全评为“表演特技最多的演员” 。2016年获第89届奥斯卡终身成就奖 。截至2020年，其主演50余部电影全球累计票房超过250亿元，并7次获得香港地区年度票房冠军，17次获得华语片全球票房冠军 。

In 2012, he was rated as the first "20 greatest action movie stars in history" by the New York Times; in the same year, he was rated as "the actor who performed the most stunts" by the Guinness Book of world records. Won the 89th Oscar Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. By 2020, he has starred in more than 50 films with a total global box office of more than 25 billion yuan, won the annual box office champion in Hong Kong seven times, and won the global box office champion of Chinese films 17 times.

演艺事业外，成龙热心公益事业。1988年被评为世界十大杰出青年。2003年当选感动中国十大人物。2004年担任联合国儿童基金会亲善大使 。2006年入选《福布斯》全球十大慈善之星 。

Besides performing arts, Jackie Chan is enthusiastic about public welfare. In 1988, he was named the top ten outstanding youth in the world. In 2003, he was elected one of China's top ten figures. In 2004, he served as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. In 2006, it was selected as one of the top ten charity stars of Forbes.

2020年5月29日，成龙、谭咏麟、曾志伟、惠英红、莫华伦、霍启刚等2605名香港文化演艺界人士及110个团体发表联署声明，支持全国人大决定，期望全国人大常委会尽快制订“港区国安法”，在堵塞国家安全漏洞的同时，保障业界正常发展空间。

On May 29, 2020, 2605 Hong Kong Cultural and performing artists and 110 groups including Jackie Chan, Tan Yonglin, Zeng Zhiwei, Hui Yinghong, Mo Hualun and Huo Qigang issued a joint statement in support of the decision of the National People's Congress. They hoped that the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress would work out the "national security law of the port area" as soon as possible to plug the national security loopholes and ensure the normal development space of the industry.

声明指出，希望有关部门能与社会各界充分沟通，释除疑虑，并呼吁香港社会各界以此为契机，增进包容理解，让香港重回文明法治的正轨，重新出发。

The statement pointed out that it is hoped that the relevant departments can fully communicate with all sectors of the community to remove doubts, and called on all sectors of Hong Kong society to take this opportunity to enhance tolerance and understanding, so that Hong Kong can return to the right track of civilization and the rule of law and start anew.

报道称，联署支持“港区国安法”的2605名人士中，不乏演艺界知名人士，如邝美云、汪明荃、鲍起静、王祖蓝、林建岳、钟镇涛、八两金、翟美卿、杨受成、林小明、黄百鸣、向华强、高志森、陈永华等。

According to the report, among the 2605 persons who jointly supported the "national security law of the port area", there are many celebrities in the performing arts circle, such as Kuang Meiyun, Wang Mingquan, Bao Qijing, Wang Zulan, Lin Jianyue, Zhong Zhentao, BA Liangjin, Zhai Meiqing, Yang Shoucheng, Lin Xiaoming, Huang Baiming, Xiang Huaqiang, Gao Zhisen, Chen Yonghua, etc.

110家参与联署的团体，包括香港影业协会、香港中华文化总会、香港中华摄影学会、香港舞蹈总会、中国文联香港会员总会、香港各界文化促进会等知名团体，基本上囊括了香港各领域的文化演艺团体。

There are 110 participating organizations, including Hong Kong Film Industry Association, Hong Kong Chinese Culture Association, Hong Kong Chinese photography society, Hong Kong Dance Association, Hong Kong Federation of members of the Federation of literary and art circles of China, Hong Kong Association for the promotion of culture from all walks of life and other well-known organizations, basically including Hong Kong Cultural Performance organizations in all fields.

另据香港《文汇报》报道，“香港各界撑国安立法联合阵线”（联合阵线）29日表示，参与签名支持制定“港区国安法”的香港市民已超214万，且还在不断增长。香港市民积极参与、踊跃签名，并表示渴望过平稳、安宁的日子。联合阵线指出，涉港国安立法是众望所归，也充分体现出中央坚决维护特区国家安全的决心，证明了中央实施“一国两制”的信心不变。

According to Wen Wei Po, Hong Kong's "United Front for supporting national security legislation" (the United Front) said on Tuesday that more than 2.14 million Hong Kong citizens have signed up to support the development of "national security law of the port area", which is still growing. The people of Hong Kong actively participate in and sign their names and express their desire for a stable and peaceful life. The United Front pointed out that the Hong Kong related national security legislation is a common expectation, which fully reflects the determination of the central government to resolutely safeguard the national security of the SAR, and proves that the central government's confidence in implementing "one country, two systems" remains unchanged.
