王默 - Wang Mo
生于军人之家，自幼热爱艺术，天赋禀异，高中未上完，父亲就命令去山西一个偏僻的小山村插队务农，接受贫下中农再教育.因在县文化馆，县剧团，县广播站担任多职，又在一次全国农民画展中立功，获奖，因此提前“释放”分配到一个军工厂做鱼雷，又因表现好调到总部做美术宣传创作工作。
1983年于中央美院油研班进修学习，后毕业于山西艺术学院油画专业，又到《光明日报》《今日中国》《中外交流》等众多媒体工作，后辞职下海，追求自己的艺术事业，几十年如一日。
曾多次参加国内外各型展览，作品被德国，法国，美国，澳洲，香港等藏家收藏，现专职油画创作。
I was born into a military family and loved art in my childhood. Since I did not finish senior high school, my father sent me to a remote farming village to work- receiving an “education” by the local farmers. The leaders sent me to a military factory that made torpedoes and because of my good performance, was promoted to the factory headquarters where I was in charge of art creation and publicity.
Later I took positions at the culture center, theater, and broadcasting in the remote county. During this time I won an award at the National Farmer’s painting exhibition.
I graduated from Shanxi College of the Arts majoring in Art painting and studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1983. Then I worked in the media departments for the "Guangming Daily", "China Today", and "Chinese and Foreign exchange" but later resigned to pursue a loving arts career for several decades.
I have taken part in various types of exhibitions on many occasions both at home and abroad where works by collectors from Germany, France, the United States, Australia, Hong Kong, and others were shown.
I am now engaged in oil paintings full time.
